About us

We’re Christopher and Gena.

We’ve spent more than thirty years writing books — our own and other people’s — for publishers and ministries you know. Now we help authors and ministry leaders take their books from first idea to finished, personally. It’s just the two of us, and we still answer our own email.

Our own writing

What editors and authors say.

Before we helped other writers, editors at Zondervan, Scholastic, and Focus on the Family were editing our work.

“The Christian reading audience is hungry for a children’s author who can appeal to both girls and boys. Chris Maselli feeds that hunger.”

Nancy Rue Best-selling author

“So much fun!!! And Chris does a great job of laying down the gospel.”

Gwen Ellis Editor, Zondervan

“A very good writer… Chris’ writing is strong.”

Helen Perelman Editor, Scholastic

“Chris’ stories have been a blast to edit. Very funny.”

Jesse Florea Editor, Clubhouse

“An engaging and beloved speaker at writer’s conferences across America, Chris is a gifted… author and mentor. He has helped countless writers.”

Melanie Hemry Director, Write Well, Sell Well

“From children’s literature to feature writing, from marketing and advertising copy… Chris does it all. Writing is his passion.”

Ron Jordan Editor, Victory

The Writing Momentum Method

Everything we teach, in one book.

What we believe

Write the vision. Make it plain.

“Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.” — Habakkuk 2:2

Your book

It stays yours.

Your copyright, your Amazon account, every royalty, and every file. We charge a fee, never a cut.

The truth

We’ll tell you honestly.

If your book needs more work, we’ll say so. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll point you somewhere better.

The people

It’s us.

No sales team, no hand-offs. The two people you talk to are the two people doing the work.

When we’re not writing, we’re raising our three kids in Northern Arizona, learning new board games, and watching Survivor.

Tell us about your book.

Or start with the two-minute check.
